His Fireplace – Poem to Warm the Heart
The following poem is about my wife. She’s stayed with me through thick and thin. We’ve had plenty of both. Last year we celebrated our 35th anniversary. A life shared is one of the greatest blessings of all.
Proverbs 18:22, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the Lord.”
His Fireplace – Poem to Warm the Heart
Nothing close to rich man’s mansion
Lives a man in simple fashion.
His fireplace doesn’t have a mantle,
It just consists of three small candles.
He doesn’t have a blazing hearth,
But understands what warms the heart.
He cherishes her; who shares his life,
His lifelong mate; his loving wife.
